This memorials bear testimony to the ultimate our valiant and selfless soldiers, our defenders of our great country have done for us. It is indeed very sobering how these brave men have laid down their lives and everything they had in them for our country. Thank you ever so much for posting this. Our country needs to realize their sacrifice and a invaluable debt we owe them.

I just loved seeing all the memorials in the snow yesterday, and this one is not an exception. I found it beautiful to see the wondefully done statues with snow covering them, it made such an astounding view and you captured it well. Seeing this picture evokes the same feelings I had yesterday looking at the Vietnam Memorial and the WWII one, imagine what these soldiers went through, not just a few inches of snow, and what they saw. These soldiers truly are heroes.

It was a solemn feeling to be there. I was taking a few pictures near the middle of the Wall when I began talking to a man who was there and had read the names of his friends from his Air Force Unit who had died during the war. It felt like someone punched me in the gut as I stood there next to him staring at the names of the friend's he once held so close and who has since refused to forget their memories. Truly an experience I will never forget.
